Chick-Aid™ Game Bird Booster Supplement

Wildlife Management Technologies

Chick-Aid™ is a specially designed formula to boost the performance of chicks placed in your Surrogator™ unit.  For newly hatched game birds to start off well, they need prompt access to water and feed.  The earlier access promotes more rapid development of the digestive tract and the immune system.  In turn this results in improved livability and as much as 5% to 7% heavier body weights.

Each container will provide for 3 cycles of chicks.

Chick-Aid™ provides an easy means by which just-hatched game birds can receive immediate nutrition and hydration. A unique formulation, Chick-Aid™ is tailored specifically for the limited amount a hatchling can eat, and for the immature nature of its digestive tract. In a soft palatable gel, Chick-Aid™supplies crucial nutrients in the most concentrated, digestible forms.

Water: Dehydration can lead to increased mortality, loss of bodyweight, slower rates of gain and depressed immune response. Chick-Aid™ supplies a substantial amount of water, giving birds a better chance to thrive.

Proteins, Peptides, and Amino Acids:  The “building blocks” of most body tissues. Chick-Aid™ contains processed, complete proteins purified from several sources to supply a complete balance of peptides and amino acids.

Carbohydrates:  The grains selected for Chick-Aid™ are processed to remove unnecessary fiber and to improve digestibility and concentration of the carbohydrates, the primary source of energy.

Fats supply energy and become parts of membrane and nerve tissues. The fats in Chick-Aid™ provide high levels of essential fatty acids in a highly digestible form.

Vitamins:  1 dose of Chick-Aid™ exceeds all the necessary vitamin requirements for day-old hatchlings.

Probiotic Bacteria:  Probiotic Bacteria helps establish normal gut bacterial populations which help exclude many disease causing bacteria by competing for attachment sites and nutrients, producing antimicrobial substances, and stimulating the immune system.

Directions for use

Using the provided measuring spoon, measure out ½ teaspoon of Chick-Aid™. Poor this into a larger disposable mixing cup (Dixie plastic cup or the like will work). The next step is to measure out 4 tablespoons of water in the suction dropper. This will equate to 12 full droppers (12 teaspoons = 4 tablespoons). Pour all 12 droppers of water into the mixing cup and stir vigoursly for a minute or so. After the mixture has set for a few minutes, it will turn into a bright green Jell-O like consistency. Place this on a paper plate with a small amount of their finely ground chick starter feed. Placing the fresh mixture in immediately before or after placing your chicks in the unit will work best. The bright green color (which looks like a bug to a chick) will attract the chicks to it quickly. Within a few hours the mixture will be consumed, and your chicks will be off to a healthy and nourishing start! Each container will provide for 3 cycles of chicks.
